Hospitals and organisations have been conducting Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation training camps at Government offices, schools, colleges and companies. In addition, BLS and COLS camps are also held at housing societies, resident welfare associations, clubs and the like. For hands-on CPR training mannequins are utilized. Another essential part of these camps is to make the participants familiar with Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and their usage.
Even though CPR training camps are being conducted quite frequently across the country, it is necessary that such programmes have to be scaled up to include all cities and towns of India with greater frequency. Our ‘CPRsavesLIFE’ campaign seeks to enable the same, so that many more Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) victims can be saved. Organisers and users are requested to send images along with details of CPR training events to us by email, so that we can feature them on this gallery.
